I took a break from writing that ended up being longer than I planned. However, one big project with my "national" Substack is now done and I am fired up about the series of original local interest stories that will be coming on a daily basis. I appreciate my readers giving me so many excellent story ideas.
I'll continue to add interesting pieces of "local history" from the archives of original print Troy Citizen and catch-up on local news briefs and keep searching for interesting "filler photos" I find on social media or take myself.
BTW, Jack's basketball team, The Cavs, started the season with an impressive 16-4 victory last night. I'm an assistant coach. We sure do have a great youth recreation program in Troy.
